GreenUp was established in Philadelphia in 2015 as a dedicated service provider for green stormwater infrastructure maintenance. The GreenUp team brings unmatched qualifications to the field, backed by the expertise and experience of engineers and scientists who helped develop the green infrastructure program and design the facilities. GreenUp leadership has developed a core of highly trained field staff with diverse backgrounds in ecological restoration, landscape architecture, commercial landscape construction and installation and urban landscape management. GreenUp has proven its ability to deliver measurable value to its clients.
All staff are OSHA-10 safety certified and have background clearances to work at all public facilities and schools. Our staff qualifications include landscape architects, certified arborists, licensed pesticide applicators, National Green Infrastructure Certification Program certified trainers. Other team certifications include OSHA confined space entry, OSHA shoring certification, and NAASCO Pipeline, Lateral and Manhole Assessment certification as required for CCTV subsurface pipe inspections. Our expanded maintenance yard in the Kensington area of Philadelphia is home to our fleet of construction vehicles, a full cadre of landscape maintenance equipment, office space, and room for green stormwater infrastructure applied research.
GreenUp is committed to green-job workforce development, training, and career advancement, partnering with PowerCorpsPHL in Philadelphia to attract skilled, motivated graduates to new jobs in green stormwater infrastructure construction and maintenance. We have also partnered with clients in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Maryland’s Prince George’s County to create and deliver training programs for green stormwater infrastructure maintenance – with hundreds of professionals undergoing training over the last five years.
